Brock's 4th Birthday

Its hard to believe that my big boy is 4! His birthday is July 25th and we celebrated by having a pool party on Saturday the 23rd at Day-Day and Mindy's house ( My dad and step-mom). We also had his first birthday party there, and they were gracious enough to let us use their pool again this year! I LOVE him having a summer birthday cause my birthday is in November and growing up I always wanted to have pool parties but that aint happening in November! So, basically I am living vicariously through my children!!

Andi loves the water just like Brock and thank goodness for Puddle Jumpers! Seriously best things ever! 

Coop was more interested in eating the ice than the pool to begin with, but he eventually decided to play in the pool!

The party didn't really have a theme but I did pick him out a Cars cake! (It worked out perfect because he got lots of Cars themed gifts!) He is obsessed with any kind of car so it was a great party for him!

His 'gas' four-wheeler! He has been asking for one of the FOREVER so we were excited to get him one! Me and Brian were acting like it was our birthday! We were so excited to give it to him! (We had to keep it hidden for over a month, which was excruciating for us!!) And it was great since he had no idea that he was getting it! 

Can you tell he loves it? He was hugging it like it was his long lost friend!

PCB Baby!! 2011

Ok, so now its time for the beach trip post!

I wanted to break the trip into several posts but I didn't keep very good track of each day so here goes nothing...

So this may be a LONG one with LOTS of pictures! (Sorry to those who are not picture freaks like me!)

We left for PCB Sunday morning after church. We stopped and ate at Arby's, fueled up at the QT and then hit the road! We arrived at the condo about 8:30 (??), dropped the luggage, kids, and babysitters (yes, we take 2 babysitters to the beach-we're so smart!), and then the FAB 4 hit up the Waffle House and then Wal-Mart to buy groceries.
After we shopped we stayed up until 3am just talking and laughing! We all have such a great time together!

(They regularly gave Danielle anxiety/mini heart attacks being on the porch! I kinda saw it like a play pen! They loved being out there and it kept them occupied since there were beach toys out there!)

I only went to the beach like once cause I am a pool-person! Brian took Brock to the beach almost everyday because he loved to play in the sand and ocean! Andi loved the beach too but Coop was NOT gonna put his feet on the sand! He cracks me up, he hated the way it felt on his feet so he climbed from chair to chair while Brock & Andi played!

CHANGE OF PLANS WITH THIS POST...

Here is Danielle's post about our trip  Knee Deep in the Water Somewhere, and since she did a Jam Up job writing about it I'm only gonna post a few other pictures! And to be honest, I am glad I can just 'steal' her post cause it was overwhelming me to write about a WHOLE WEEK!!!

Brian made the mistake of introducing D to Words With Friends!

This was where we ate breakfast on Saturday morning before we headed home. It was pretty good! Pancakes weren't my fave but everything else I had was good!

This is what it did to my arm pit! (Please excuse the 'fuzz', I didn't think I had to shave for the drive home!)

It hurt so stinkin bad!!! I had to ride all the way home with a blanket under my arm so it wouldn't burn. I am such a clutz and I can hurt myself anytime, anywhere! 

We love Jon Dean and Danielle and are so thankful for their friendship. We always have so much when we're together and laugh non-stop! 

We had a blast with the Butlers and are looking forward to our annual vacay with them next year!
